Here’s my first Friday Feature where I put the spotlight on an item or group of items I’ve made.
This time it’s these scalloped edge macrame wall hangings. They come in 3 different sizes and an array of colours, the two smaller sizes are made from 3mm cord, larger ones from 5mm cord and they’re all made on a wooden dowel with a hanging cord.
I love to search charity and antique shops for colourful and unusual beads to use in my creations, often upcyling a piece of jewellery to be part of a new item. This means most of the hangings are unique one offs too!
